ABOUT US

Research topics in Yamada-Miyajima group are photovoltaic materials, photovoltaic devices, and solar cells. Yamada group mainly focuses on chalcopyrite-based materials for compound semiconductor solar cells and related multijunction solar cells. Miyajima group mainly focuses on low-damage sputtering technology crystallline silicon solar cells and widegap perovskite-based materials for optical-to-electrical power converters which are used in optical wireless power transmission.
